My passion and appreciation for my faith, leadership, learning and the art of teaching has guided my life and led me to St. Michael Parish School. I previously taught high school English for nine years at Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart, where I conducted my administrative internship and served as International Baccalaureate Diploma Program Coordinator. It is an honor and a privilege to serve our community and be working with such a committed community of students, parents, faculty, staff and parishioners.

I was born in Southern California and sang in my first musical at the age of 2. From the time I was 3 years old, I studied music, dance and acting 6 days a week, 4 hours a day for 21 years. I began working professionally at the age of 8 and have worked in the entertainment industry my entire life. In California, I worked for 10 years at Carden Academy Private School until moving to Washington in 2012. Music has been a constant in my life and has always been my number one form of communication with my Heavenly Father. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to share my love of music with the students at Saint Michael School. I have also had the blessing of being able to lead the Life Teen band at Saint Michael Parish, giving me the opportunity to minister to the families in our community through worship. In my free time I enjoy the company of my husband Chris and our four beautiful children, Samantha, Josiah, Reagan and Mercy.

I grew up in Oregon, but Washington is where my family settled in the 1980s. I received an English degree and Masters in Education from University of Portland where I met my husband, and we have three sons who live in New York and California. We’ve been a part of St. Michael Parish since 1980, and teaching at St. Mikes has turned out to be my dream job. When I’m not thinking of new novel studies or writing lessons, I enjoy gardening, camping and bike riding.
